中世纪和文艺复兴研究

中世纪和文艺复兴时期. 500-1600 CE) in Europe and the Mediterranean world saw the transformation of the Roman Empire and the emergence of European nation-states; the rise of two world religions (Christianity and Islam) and the fragmentation of Christianity in the Reformation era; the rise of European exploration and imperialism from the age of the crusades to the age of discovery; revolutions in political theory, 神学, and science; and unparalleled achievement in art and literature, 从哥特式教堂到乔叟的作品, 但丁, 和莎士比亚.  通过中世纪和文艺复兴研究辅修课程(MARS)探索这一时期的学生将有机会学习现代西方文化(大学)熟悉方面的基础, 议会制政府, 小说)，体验那个时代的异国情调.
